Kate Wheeler Peterson
Kate was born and raised in Blackfoot, Idaho. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University, she attended law school at Arizona State University as a Sandra Day O’Connor Honors Fellow and a Leo & Annette Beus Top Scholar. During that time she was a Rule 39 Certified Student working with the Arizona Justice Project. She was a member of the Women Law Students Association board and a Note & Comment editor for the ASU Corporate and Business Law Journal. Kate also interned with firms doing trial and appellate work in various practice areas. Additionally, she has worked as a bankruptcy paralegal in Utah. Kate is actively licensed to practice law in all Idaho state and federal courts.
Kate’s practice areas include business law, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and real estate law.
In her free time, Kate enjoys baking, reading, camping, and fishing with her husband Tyler. They are excited to be back home in Idaho, and reside in Blackfoot, Idaho. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
