"Patrick is an excellent attorney who truly cares about his clients. He works hard to make sure your issues and concerns are addressed rather than relying on cookie cutter legal tactics. Patrick was also very well prepared for Court. I was impressed at his ability to offer a professional, well-spoken argument on any issue that was raised, right on the spot.”

Past Client

"Pat George, well there is so much I can say…. EXCELLENT lawyer! He leaves no stones unturned. If you are in need of an excellent Lawyer I would highly recommend Pat George. He turned a life threatening accident into a life changing event. Thank You Pat George, You’re The BEST!!!!”

Past Client

"Steve Muhonen helped me out of a stressful situation. He represented me in a car accident case. Steve always kept me informed of what was going on with my case and where I stood in the negotiation stage. Steve would call me and get my opinion on every step and help me make decisions to benefit my cause. Steve treats you like a good friend instead of just a client. He was able to get me the maximum amount possible in my particular case, unlike my insurance company who did not have my back and caved in when push came to shove. I was not at fault, the other driver ran a red light and totaled my car, but Steve fought for me and helped me recover some of the out of pocket cost to replace my car. He will never give up and settle until you, the client, are ready. He is never in a rush to judgment. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who needs a good attorney to fight for their cause. He will always be there for you!! He will be your Knight in Shining Armor."

"In 2010 I was involved in a car crash. A young man texting and driving, did not see my police car with lights and siren, broadsided me. Due to my injuries from the accident I lost my career. I remember meeting with Attorney Stephen Muhonen when he came with another attorney that I hired for another matter. After we talked Attorney Stephen Muhonen took my case and told me that he would examine the case and see if we can do something. Though my case was weak, due to my police agency not providing the right equipment and certification, Attorney Stephen Muhonen did a phenomenal job in working the case and I was awarded a settlement that allowed me to start again in a deferent profession. If it was not for the work Attorney Stephen Muhonen did for me, it would have been much more difficult to try to start again. Another thing that I really respected about Attorney Stephen Muhonen is that he always kept me informed and if I call and he was not available, he will get to me fast. If you are looking for a fair, good and aggressive attorney, I recommend Attorney Stephen Muhonen."

Many individuals wonder if they have a case after they are hurt. Perhaps a police officer didn’t issue a citation to anyone or they are unsure if the circumstances of the accident favor a claim. It is often difficult to parse through the specifics of a case to understand who might be at fault. We advise you simply to call and ask. One of our attorneys will be happy to visit with you regarding your circumstances and help you make an appropriate decision at no cost to you.

When accidents occur, it is common for an insurance company to ask you to make a recorded statement with an insurance adjuster. It is never wise to do so without having consulted your attorney first.

It’s difficult to determine how long it will take to resolve a personal injury lawsuit. Each case is unique; therefore, no general timetable can be established for personal injury cases. A personal injury lawsuit may settle in a few months without the need for a trial, while others can take years to complete after a trial and even appeal.

It cannot be reiterated enough that insurance companies are in the business of minimizing payouts in order to maximize company profits. No matter how nice the insurance adjuster seems or how many details they give you regarding your compensation, the adjuster’s goal is to pay you as little as possible. In fact, the adjuster is usually rewarded for resolving claims for as little as possible and as quickly as possible. Oftentimes they use computer programs like Colossus in an effort to tell you what your claim is worth. This is simply a way to reduce their payout since the program is designed and run by the insurance company.

Following an accident it is understandable for individuals to want to settle the matter quickly and move on with their lives as soon as possible. As a result, some may be tempted to try to take care of all issues—including legal issues—without getting professional representation. It is crucial to understand the pitfalls of trying to go it alone. In some situations, it might be appropriate to simply settle and move forward. However, to maximize your recovery you need to understand your rights. We can help you make an informed decision.

It is impossible to make generalizations about the value of any case without knowing the details of the harm caused and the manner it was caused. One of the most important jobs that your attorney will conduct is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to detailing all possible injuries you have suffered that will translate into a legal recovery. The law allows recovery for a wide range of situations, many of which may not be readily apparent to the injured party. This includes past medical bills, future medical and rehabilitation costs, therapy, lost past wages, lost future income, pain and suffering, and more. We would be pleased to spend time with you answering your question in a one on one consultation.

To have a viable personal injury claim, the victim must have been injured from the negligence of another individual or entity. Although the definition of negligence can change based upon the circumstances of a case, generally it occurs when an individual fails to exercise a reasonable care for the safety of others. If a person fails to act as a reasonable person would, he or she may be liable for any resulting damages.

We work on a contingency fee basis which means, you don’t pay until your case is resolved. This includes a free initial consultation with an attorney from our firm.

When an accident occurs it is easy to become disoriented, shaken, and confused. However, it is important to obtain and save crucial information. A helpful way to remind yourself what to do after a car accident is to keep a checklist of phone numbers to call and questions to ask along with your insurance information in your glove compartment or center console. Such a list will remind you to obtain an investigating officer’s business card, a copy of the police report, names and addresses of witnesses, and so forth.
