On Wednesday, May 28th<\/sup>, two vehicles, a 2019 Nissan Frontier and a semi-truck, collided head on while travelling on Interstate 84, east of Bliss. The accident took place at milepost 141, at approximately 12:43 p.m.<\/p>\n

The Nissan, being driven by a 69-year-old man from Ogden, Utah, was traveling westbound, and pulling a cargo trailer. As he traveled, he veered over the center line and into the oncoming eastbound traffic, where he collided head on with the semi. The driver of the semi, a 43-year-old man from Ozone Park, New York, had a 23-year-old male passenger from Indianapolis, Indiana, and was pulling a 2020 utility trailer.<\/p>\n

After colliding head-on, both vehicles skidded to a stop before catching fire. The driver of the Nissan sustained fatal injuries and passed away at the scene of the accident. Neither the driver nor the passenger of the semi received any major injuries.<\/p>\n
