Brent L. Whiting
Brent is one of three attorneys currently working in the firm’s Idaho Falls office. He believes in a common sense approach to resolving legal issues, and works hard to provide real value for his legal services. Most recently, Brent has been engaged in a variety of construction-related litigations, as well as defending the property rights of several local residents. Brent has also gained significant experience in the area of Administrative Law, having spent hundreds of hours as an Administrative Hearings Officer. In the past, he has worked in a wide variety of legal areas, including business/corporate law, wills, probates, divorces and criminal law, and he continues to welcome clients who have general legal needs.
Brent is a native of Eastern Idaho, and resides in Idaho Falls with his wife and three children. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Brent was honored to work as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen S. Trott, a Federal Circuit Judge on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, where he gained valuable judicial insight and mentoring. Brent attended law school at the University of Montana School of Law, graduating with honors in 2002. His undergraduate work was completed first at Ricks College, where he obtained an AAS in 1994, then obtained his BA at Idaho State University, graduating with high honors in 1997.
