    Mr. Olsen’s emphasis of practice is in state and federal taxation, business planning, estate planning, and commercial litigation.

    Academic Degrees:
    Mr. Olsen graduated from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah with a B.S. in economics and a minor in political science. He received his Juris Doctor in May of 1993 from the University of Idaho College of Law, Moscow, Idaho. In the fall of 1996, he returned to school and earned his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law, Gainesville, Florida.

    Professional Memberships and Activities:
    During law school, he was a member of the Idaho Law Review and served as the managing editor of the Annual Review of Community Property Law. He was admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Idaho in September of 1993. He served as a law clerk for the Honorable B. Lynn Winmill, District Court Judge for the Sixth Judicial District of the State of Idaho, and now a federal district court judge. He has served as the secretary and treasurer of the Pocatello Estate Planning Council. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Idaho State Bar Association, and the Pocatello and Idaho Falls Estate Planning Councils.

    Biographical Information:
    Eric was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on March 31, 1965.
