Mr. Bailey was one of the trial counsel for Idaho's longest jury trial which lasted nearly six months. He has tried over 35 jury trials in both State and Federal courts and over 50 court trials or administrative proceedings. Mr. Bailey was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1980. Mr. Bailey is admitted to practice before the Federal Courts of the State of Idaho and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Academic Degrees: Mr. Bailey received his undergraduate education at the Idaho State University, obtaining a B.S. degree with high honors in political science and economics in 1977. He received his legal education at the University of Idaho, where he obtained his J.D. degree in 1980. Professional Memberships and Activities: Mr. Bailey is a member of the Defense Research Institute. He has served as president of the Southeast Idaho Claims Adjusters Association, as the President of the Sixth District Bar Association, and as a member of the Bench and Bar Liaison Committee. Mr. Bailey is a past President for the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel and serves as the Idaho Legislative Representative to the Defense Research Institute. He is a past member of the Board of Commissioners for the Idaho State Bar. Mr. Bailey has published and taught various courses for continuing legal education classes focusing on litigation in Idaho.
